Description of Product
The Vacuum Pycnometer is designed to determine the theoretical maximum specific gravity and density of compacted or non-compacted bituminous paving mixtures. It can also be used to calculate the percent air voids in compacted bituminous mixtures. This test method is not applicable to asphalt mixtures containing porous aggregates with water absorption exceeding 3%
