Description of Product
The Speedy moisture tester delivers rapid and precise moisture measurement in powders, mixes, pastes, soil, sand, clay and other granular materials. It operates by reacting moisture from the test specimen with calcium carbide reagent inside a sealed pressure chamber, producing acetylene gas. The resulting pressure corresponds directly to the moisture content, and the gauge is calibrated to display the percentage of moisture in the specimen.
