Cement production lines consist of various pieces of equipment with varying lifespans. According to a 2022 report by the International Cement Association (ICR), the lifespans of key equipment are as follows:
Rotary Kiln: 20-30 years. As the core calcining equipment, its lifespan depends on the frequency of refractory material replacement (typically every 5-8 years) and the degree of cylinder corrosion.
Vertical Mill: 15-25 years. Wear mainly occurs on the grinding rollers and grinding discs; using high-chromium alloy materials can extend its lifespan to the maximum.
Ball Mill: 10-20 years. Grinding media (steel balls) need to be replenished every 1-2 years; cylinder lifespan is significantly affected by material hardness.
Preheater and Grate Cooler: 18-28 years. High-temperature components require regular maintenance, but the overall structural stability is relatively high.
