1. Turn on the main power switch.

2. Select the measurement range according to the sample. Hang or remove the pendulum on the pendulum rod and adjust the buffer valve handle to align with the mark.

3. Install the corresponding clamps into the upper and lower jaw seats according to the sample shape and size.

4. Roll the recording paper (graph paper) onto the drum of the tracer. This step is only required when needed.

5. Start the oil pump motor, open the oil supply valve to raise the test platform by 10 mm, then close the oil valve. If the test platform is already in the raised position, it is not necessary to start the oil pump first; simply close the oil supply valve.

6. Clamp one end of the sample in the upper jaw.

7. Start the oil pump and adjust the pointer to align with the zero point of the dial.

8. Start the lower jaw motor, raise and lower the lower jaw to the appropriate height, and clamp the other end of the sample in the lower jaw, ensuring the sample is vertical.

9. Lower the tracer pen on the push rod to enter the tracer preparation state (only required when tracer needs to be traced). 10. Apply the load at the required rate, slowly opening the oil supply valve to begin the loading test.

11. After the specimen breaks, close the oil valve and stop the oil pump motor.

12. Record the required values and plot them.

13. Open the return valve, unload, and return the driven needle to zero.

14. Remove the broken specimen.

15. Compression and bending tests can be performed following the same procedure.
