Description of Product
This testing procedure assesses how readily chloride ions penetrate concrete materials. It tracks the electric current flowing through cylindrical or core concrete samples during the test. A voltage is applied between the two ends of the specimen: the negative side is submerged in sodium chloride solution, while the positive side sits in sodium hydroxide solution. The total electric charge (measured in coulombs) passing through the sample is recorded; this value reflects the concrete's resistance against chloride ingress.
