Description of Product
This consolidation apparatus is designed for soil compression testing, determining the relationship between deformation and compressive stress. It calculates unit sediment compression index, resilience index and consolidation coefficient of soil samples. The rigid frame construction ensures minimal distortion during testing. Loading is applied through a lever arm assembly with three selectable beam ratios: 9:1, 10:1 and 11:1. The beam includes a counter balance weight and support jack for precise operation.
